So many humans have endured a negative experience that has tainted their perception of themselves. In my personal life, I’ve found that processing things through art is one of the most therapeutic things you can do. “You, Reimagined” is a photography experience in which we celebrate people by helping them recolor the way they see themselves. Our goal is to guide you on an artistic journey in which you will start to see yourself as the beautiful masterpiece you are.

MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
When I was younger, I had a huge fear of being alone. I'd constantly feel the need to attach and surround myself with people to feel safe. To feel loved. To feel enough.
I was hungry for validation and affirmation — I didn't feel valuable or happy without it.
I was terrified of the idea of being alone because I was a stranger to myself. I didn't know who I was, I didn't understand what made me, "me."
I didn't love or respect myself, so I felt like I couldn't celebrate myself.
It wasn't until after experiencing heartbreak, loss, and a series of traumatic personal events that I fell in love with Jesus and started believing in my true, beautiful identity as a Daughter of the King. I felt brand new and like I could finally see how worthy I was of the good, because He made me this way. Now I am passionate about helping others see their true value within, through intentional photography experiences that help you love and celebrate yourself by processing experiences through art.
I've always been an advocate for mental health and helping people feel like the best version of themselves. This series is curated with an intent to build a community where anyone can share the wisdom and experiences that have helped them grow in their lives. I hope this brings you as much self-reflection and growth as it did for me — as I went through this for myself and have come out on the other side.

A 30% non-refundable, non-transferable retainer fee is required to reserve your spot. The remaining will be due the week before your shoot, or if a payment plan is requested, timing of payments will be customized!
Session Prep
We'll send a get-to-know-you questionnaire via email to help us understand your style + personality so that we can curate the perfect outfit + vibe for you. I'll start a mood board for you to start brainstorming ideas for your shoot, and then you'll receive your affirmation workbook. Then we will have a 1 hour strategy call going over all the details for your shoot to make it the best experience ever.
Shoot Day
We will kick things off with hair & makeup, and will have everything ready for you to try on — clothes that makes you feel the most beautiful and confident version of yourself! During your photoshoot, I'll guide you through all of the posing and we'll jam to your fav tunes!
Post-shoot
You will receive your photos via an online gallery 2 weeks after your shoot. Shortly after you will receive a 'lil photo album with all your photos so that you have a physical reminder of you, reimagined.

A 1 hour session that celebrates and documents you in a custom, symbolic way, because you deserve it. Every session is literally what the name is all about - an empower hour for "you" time and a way to treat and honor yourself for the incredible human that you are! You will be provided with an affirmation workbook, strategy call, mood board, and life-coaching session with me. During the shoot, we will jam to your favorite music and photograph you to make you feel as powerful and beautiful as you are.

"This photo commemorates the 1 year anniversary of my second miscarriage and journey of healing. Katrena and Chelsea did a wonderful job in making me feel beautiful again, after feeling so much brokenness and numbness from grief."
While undergoing cancer treatment, having to take care of her child, working, etc, Edelyn found herself feeling tangled and drowning in stress and overwhelm. She wrestled with the yarn and eventually broke herself free from it. It was an emotional experience for everyone, and you can see the relief of letting go of her entrapment at the end of this set.
Edelyn, the subject photographed here, was undergoing treatment at the time for thyroid cancer. She is a mother, nurse, and business owner. This first set symbolized "where you've been" through the idea that she has always filled others' cups before her own, hence the glasses in the photos.

This event sparked Edelyn to want to pursue her dream of starting a business as a personal chef. She wanted to channel her inner powerful woman. This was a "funeral" to her old self and the rebirth of who she was stepping into in this next chapter.

For the benefit of your growth and healing journey, you will be provided with an affirmation workbook, strategy call, mood board, and life-coaching session with me. We go all out with hair and makeup to kick stuff off, and then delve into our photoshoot where you are "reimagined."
